Overview of Community-Associaterd MRSA

Methicillin-restiant Staphylococcus Aureus (MSRA) IS A TYPE OF sTAPH THAIS IS RESISTANT TO CERTIAN ANTIBOTICS. tHESE ANTIBOITIS INCLUDE METHICILLIN AND OTHER MORE COMMON ANTIBIOTICS SUCH AS OXACILLIN, PENICILLIN AND AMOXICILLIN. sTAP INFECTIONS, INCLUDING mrsa, OCCUR MOST FREQUENTLY AMOUNG ( I didn't realize I still had the cap lock on) persons in hospitals and health care facilities ( such as nursing homes and dialysis centers) who have weakened immune systems ( see the healthcare-associated MRSA).

MRSA infections that are aquired by persons who have not been recently (with in the past year) hospitalized or had a medical procedure (such as dialysis, surgery, catheters) are know as CA-_MRSA infections. Staph or MRSA infections in the community are usually manifested as skin infections, such as pimples and boils, and occur in otherwise healthy people.
