I hadnt bought a sex toy (or sex aid) for quite a while so I popped into Ann Summers this afternoon to give myself a treat. Its called the helter skelter, and it twists and bends into various angles, I cant wait to try it out. I think its <strong>made</strong> for me, being pink and glittery. Ooh la la.

As unfortunate as the title sounds, it is true. You will get the highs and (in this case) lows in this industry. Tonight I was called out for a 2-hour appointment in Bolton (about 50 miles out of town) and ended up leaving without a single dime.
I arrived at the apparent address, but left after a little over 5 minutes because there was no answer. Whether this was a false address, or he simply decided to go out without telling me, I guess I will never know.
In all, I spent 2hrs & 30mins getting back to Manchester. When in fact only an hour was spent on the bus & train. My feet are devestatingly frozen (though wearing high heels) and I feel rather ill from the icy cold weather. I didnt think I would make it home by the morning! Not exactly, but I did wonder when I would ever return to my warm and cosy apartment...
So is there a moral to this story, is there a lesson to be learnt here? Possibly. Maybe this is a crucial time to be strict on home visits. For example, I should request a land-line telephone number before accepting a home visit. This wont make me popular with some potential clients, but after tonight I think it is necessary. I wouldnt like to be put in tonight's situation ever again.

As the Christmas season creeps up, I have decided I deserve to be pampered in the photography sense. Who knows, it may be fun! My only worry is selecting a photographer. I thought it would be easy, but I was wrong. After searching high and low on google, it turns out that Im not in for an easy ride. I would like a professional, and and I dont expect his 'studio' to be a half-decent basement. It would help if the photograher's studio location would be local, as I dont fancy travelling for more than an hours drive away to do a shoot - leaving me tired, stressed and unhappy. I suppose that I will get there in the end, and hopefully I will choose a mature professional, who has lots of experience and who will make me feel at ease without worrying whether he will hit on me. Or is that a misconception?

I almost told my housemate my 'secret identity' this afternoon. Stress is starting to show, and I dont like keeping this from him. I thought of the ways in which I could start telling him, but nothing would sound right. Even a 'hypothetical' question would sound out of the ordinary. Because lets face it, all hypothetical questions play some part in reality. Eventually after some silence, I walked away without telling him. What could be so hard about it? He is a man, and from my experience, every man has his open mind to topics of an adult nature. Porn, strippers, sex, and such. My only concern is the awkwardness that follows. And the questions. We have a good friendship and I wouldnt want to sacrifice that for anything in the world. Did I do the right thing in avoiding telling him? Who knows. Hes a pretty intelligent person. Im sure he will find out sooner or later, and when he does, I hope that he wont resent me for keeping this from him.
