My niece and I had a wonderful trip to South Africa and a fantastic experience. Won't be able to post pictures yet, but I'll try. Have to shrink them down from there 12.2 mgp to fit the web servers but i'll try. Camp base was at 5200 feet elevation and hot as hell up to 7800 feet saw some beautiful animals and some rare ones as well. Great time and I'll try to post some pics.

It's finally here. I'm leaving for South Africa on Saturday morning from San Francisco to Atlanta then on to Johannesburg. The entier flight will take over 24hrs, leave here drive to SF (2hrs) fly to Atlanta (6hrs) a 4 hrs lay over and then an 18 hrs 23 min flight to Johannesburg then a 2 hr drive to the lodge. My niece and I will be beat
To make matters worse, I seriously bruised my tail bone while playing with Mister Monster and it still hurts. I went to the store and bought a doughnut pillow and a neck pillow to help make me comfortable on the flight but I know it's going to be rough.
I'm taking 2 camers, one that doubles as a cam corder, and a digital 12.2 megapixle Cannon with 2 lenses and 24 GB of scan discs so I'll be posting photos when I get back from my trip.
The first thing I'm going to buy when I get to Johannesburg is some CUBAN cigars! Yeah, the only time I can get them is when I go out of the country so I'll be looking for them. When Castro dies and the US normalizes relations with Cuba I'll only be smoking cigars.
I'll be able to eat some of the game I shoot while I'm on my trip but the majority of the meat goes to the tribes that leave around the preserve but I'll be having the hides treated so I can use them for blankets or rugs. I might have one head mounted but only keep the skull and antlers of the other animals I shoot. Depends on the cost of getting it all done.
Hope Every One has a Wonderful Thanksgiving, I know I will.

The word Vertan has a number of different meaning but the one definition I'm talking about is this one, you won't find it in the dictionary.

A Vetran is any man or woman who at one time gave a blank check to Our Country for the value of: Any thing up to and including my life.

I am very Honored and it was my Honor to serve my country.

Happy Veteran's Day to all and God Bless Our Veterans and Their Families. All gave some, some gave all.

Mr. Monster is teething, again, this time with his back teeth and on some days he is miserable. This morning, after breakfast, I gave him some tylanol and then was putting some Oral gel on his gums and he bit me. Wow, that little monster bites hard. I'm not kidding, I had teeth marks for a couple of minuets. Of couse, he thought it was funny when I jumped and he tried to stick my finger back in his mouth.

My grandson has at least 3 nick-names; Monster, from Mommy. Mister, from Daddy and Papa's Baby Boy from me.

He already calls my name when he sees me and when I'm not there, as well. I taught him to growl and to wave bye-bye and now I'm trying to teach him to knock on the door. He can open and close them, easily, thank God for dead bolts , and loves to do it every time we go out side. Next to the front door is an 6" wide by 5 Ft high window (It's his window) and I'll raise the covering and rap on the window and say: Hello, Hello. Then, he'll knock once or twice and trun toward the door. My son and I are using the window to knock on both sides, when one of us has the baby on the other side, and play peek-a-boo. And today he said "up", to me and then raised his arms. My sister told me she got him to say it before she would pick him up on the bed, it's something she taught both of her daughters when they were little. My one baby would come up to me and say "Baby, Up!" And I had better obey. Now, my sister has taught him the same. It's great.

Both his mom and I are teaching him to say Thank you and he is mumbling something, now, and I sure he'll be talking soon. I've been watching him a lot recently, about 3-5 hours a day and I've been loving every day. When I'm hold my grandson I'll tell him he's "Papa's Baby Boy" and Papa loves him. I give him a bottle when he needs a nap even though his mom doesn't like it. But what the hell, he's still a baby and if he wants his bottle to sleep with he gets it.

I've been to a few awards ceremonies this week and week-end and today I was watching the baby. My son had borrowed my truck and was working on his gf's truck and called to say he'd be here in half an hour. He wasn't an hour later and I had to leave the baby with my sister. She told me, when I got home, he sat on the floor at the bottom of the stair way and cries and howled for 30 minuets before he calmed down after I left. She said he quited down and then started again so she called my son and told him to come and get the baby. When they got here the baby still wasn't happy and wasn't going to Mommy or Daddy, at first. When he, finally, went to Mommy she said, "You are Papa's Boy, aren't you!" I love it

Last year I had to have laser surgery on my eye and, earlier, this year I had to under-go another procedure to clean the membrane around the lens. Well, last Saturday night I decied to go to the movies and I start to notice this thing floating in my vision and then there's a lighting flash. Problem is; I'm the only one who saw it. As I was moving my head around I would see flashes of light, if I moved my eyes I would see a flash of light and I was FREAKING OUT. That's the first time I've ever seen anything like that.
I call my Dr on Monday and saw her this morning and she said every thing looked good but still sent me on an emergency consultation. The symtoms I was having could have meant a detatched retinea and that was her worry, not that it was detatched but, possibily, a tear.
I was sure it was just a defective lens.
I go get my eye examined for the detached retinea and learn I don't have one nor a tear. But with the conditons of my left eye, since birth, it's amazing I haven't had more problems earlier, he says. But, because of the symtoms and their sudden onset he wants to check me every 2 weeks for six weeks.
Let me tell you this: I have been in A LOT of pain in my life and I mean a lot. I was run over by a truck, pinned and drug for 50 feet. I was attacked by a rabid dog and a whole hell of a lot more but this examination kicked my ass! I am not bull shitting you: I almost told the doctor to stop, twice, because I was about to wet myself. FUCK!! It hurt. On my way out I asked if anyone ever got a black eye from the examination and I was told yes. Was not hard to believe. Not one bit.
I'm praying it's just age.

My little grandson is 14 mos old now and he's getting to be a lot of fun. He really suprises me sometimes by the things he gets into and how he gets himself trapped somewhere when he's exploring. In stead of putting up drawer and cabinet locks I put up gates to keep him out of the kitchen and off the stairs. I gave him his own dawer, in the reading area, so he's happy having that and a big printer box, where he throws toys. I had already bought plug in protectors and my sister bought more so, I gave them to him to play with. Sometimes he sticks them in his mouth but beacuse of the size and shape he takes the back out (I think the blades hurt) and on days he'll grab a hand full and come to me and give me one, he'll keep one, and he turns to go and the stops to give me one and takes it back and the turns and starts all over. He can't deceid if Papa gets it or he wants it.
He sighs a lot and, actually, goes, "mmmmmmmmm" when he eats what he likes, cracks me up. One day my son brought him over and told me the Monster was saying "Papa, Papa" all day.
He likes to go into my sister's room and wake her up. She has set up a bunch of different boxes for him to explore and he likes to open them up and come into the living room and show me what he has and then he'll go back to the room and do it again. He likes to be chase and play hide-n-seek or peak-a-boo. He's got a great laugh and he's starting to be tickelish, like his dad. I'm going to tourture him with tickels.
M&M is selling those special printing candies and I ordered some, in honor of the Monster, and am having them put "Monster Baby" on them. He's 14 months and 31 lbs and 33 in long and when he start walking fast you have to run to catch him. He's got such a big head and fat belly the always falling on his face so he's a work out. People can't believe how young he is.
I'm not kidding. When he's walking fast and I grab his hand he pulls me along for a couple of steps and he just slings his toys around, he is strong.
When his parents get up set with him I always tell them: "I know I'm a big boy, but I'm just a little baby." I keep reminding them of that and I piss his mom off.
She doesn't want him to have bottles, anymore, well; Bullshit! He wants a bottle when he goes down for a nap; he gets it. I'm not going to sit there and wait for im to cry himself to sleep. Shit no! If a bottle knocks him out; I'm stickin' it in there.lol
I also piss 'em off 'cause I let him go where ever he wants when I'm with him. Up the stairs, climbing over boxes, climbing up on and walking on the couch, and even walking on the kitchen counter. I told my son: "You were spoiled and I know it because I did it. Now, I'm going to spoil him worse and he's my revenge on you!" And I'm not kidding. I'm going to make my son miserable.LOL
I'm looking forward to a lot of fun

Next month my niece and I will be taking a trip to South Africa and I'll be going on a hunting safari. We'll be going to a National Game Preserve and I'll be able to hunt an animal from a herd that needs thinning. I have to pay a fee to the preserve and I may keep the "trophy and the hide" or just one or the other. I'm not much of a hunter who like to mount trophies but I will have the hides treated so I can use them either for a bed spread or a rug.

I'll get to eat some of the meat while I am there but the rest of it goes to feed the tribes that live near the preserve. We're hoping to be able to see some other sites as well but just going to Africa will be great. I want to go to India and China and then I'll be able to say I've been around the world.

Duck hunting season opens on the 24th of this month and I spent 4-5 hrs out in the field helping to set up our blinds. Got out to the field and saw that I didn't need to bring my boots or wear my jacket. My son brought an Army Fatigue shirt and I wore it over my 2 t shirts but after an hour or two I was strippng down. My son had worn long under ware and I was LMAO when he dropped his pants to take them off. I asked how cold did he expect to be and he just gave me a look and shrug like he did when he was little.
We might have to go out next week end and if we do we're going to take the Monster with us. I'd love to see what he'd do with a decoy, probably try to put it in his mouth. This will be his first year to try duci and I'll have to cook it a few different was. I might even go phesant hunting this year as well. With the cost of food going out and bagging so fresh food and growing some veggies is a good way to go for me.
My biggest worry is: Will We Have Rain?
This is going to be our 4th yr of drought if we don't and California is still burning.
Oh, yeah, my ass has been kicked. Duck hunting is a physically demanding sport. Digging in your blind, camoflouge, carrying in decoys and the setting them out. Hiding your blind and having to rake up rice straw to carry back to the blind and to lay out on the trail so it doesn't get worn and look like an arrow pointing to us for the ducks to see. My legs and back are killing me but by January I'll be in great shape and able to nearly run out to the blind and carry in 2 shotguns and 8 ducks. Great time of the year, for me.

Hot shit. I can't believe what I've been seeing. Some stupid shit from India using another escorts avatar. I remember an escort posted a warning on this site about her photo's being stolen and used by some one else but I never saw that site. Now, I can say I've seen a hijacked site. It's a wonder what some slime sleaze ball will do. I know that a lot of shit goes on between the agencies in India but now the Independents (?) are doing it as well? I guess they all have day jobs working for Micro-soft tech support: They're so used to fucking MS systems users who call for tech help that now they're fucking everyone.

Like every one else the economy down turn has really hurt me. I was lucky to learn at 27 I could buy one (1) share of stock at a time and I bought stock in my local utility company. It wasn't that I knew any thing about investing but I was pissed off at the utility company and I figured if I had to pay them: they were going to pay me back. I also started an IRA at the same time with $25.00 a month straight from my checking account so I didn't have to worry about it. In 1984 the State Court of Appeals heard a case between pension contributees and the employer. The court ruled we could take our money out and invested it ourselves since it was taken out after taxes. I chose to do that and started my carrear in investing and continued while working. I had a good paying job and was able to invest quiet a bit of money and was doing very well. Then I got hit by a drunk driver and the money stopped comming in. I was given a medical retirement and social security retirement, which was good, but I was only 47 when I retired: I don't get squat. Then I got divorced and lost half of every thing I had. So my investments are what kept me going. I've seen only 2 sp's this year and that will be the extent of what I'll be able to do this year. I, like a lot other people have had hopes that the stock market would be on the way to recovery but it's going to be a while but I hope next year is better.

This evening I took my 1yr grandson to his first baseball game. The wives of the players were raising money for the local food bank and for a $25 donation you got a baseball signed by the entire team. He got it. Then of course we're walking around the concouse and they're selling team hats for todlers, he got one. I really love the hat 'cause it's called "Toddler Beast Hat", his nick name is "Monster". We call him Monster because of his weight when he was born (11lbs 7oz) and at a year he is the physical size of a 21 month old baby. He gets used to being passed around to be held because he weighs so much. We were sitting on a grassy hill area of the ball park and as he tried to walk up the hill he fell on his butt and would have flipped over if I hadn't caught him. He's that big. He's got a GIANT head and a fat belly and because he couldn't walk down the hill he got on his belly and started pushing himself backwards down the this kid is stubbron but he's smart.
The home team won and they had a fire works show after the game and we were in a perfect spot to see them and the baby just looked and watched the whole show and never made a sound. The finale was fantastic and he pushed himself back against his mom so he could look up higher. It was great.
This makes 2 first for he and I. I took him to his first rock concert (ZZ Top) but he wasn't born yet but he was 8 mos in development and now his first ball game. He's dancing all the time, now, and likes to be sung to. His mom loves my version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider", I call mine "The Giant Giant Butt Head" 'cause he can be the biggest butt head you've ever met when he gets one of his moods.
My dad was stubbron, I am, my son is and now my grandson. I wonder if it's genitic?

My new computer and printer have arrived and I've beenworking on gettingit set up and hooked up. I forgot how long it takes to load all the stuff you need to load on a new computer and I've been working on this thing since Fridady. You would not believe the shit I've had to go through just to get my email account established. This new HP has Yahoo on it and I didn't want to sign up for it as my DSL is from ATT and I wanted to keep my old email and not start a new account.
That took about 4 hrs on the phone with Tech support but I finally got it done today.
I was wondering how I was going to transfer all the info on my old computer to the new one and was reading the manual on how to do it but that process was just to long. So, I talked to the tech people and learned that this new computer has a slot for an external hard drive so, I order a 500mb external hd and am going to have all the info on the old computer trasferred to the ehd and then be able it plug it into the slot for it and I'll be able to access it through that drive. Man, I can't believe all the shit this new computer can do.
I got an HP Pavillion computer that has 4 processors and I can hook up any thing I want to. I got an addaptor that allowed me to hook up my mouse and key board to a USB port and a web cam and laser jet printer. You ought to see how happy my niece is about this new set up.
Both the printer and computer have spaces for scan disks and automatically down load the pictures, if you want. I can make slide shows and movies out of any of the photos I want. This is Crazy!
When I was talking to the tech people I told them: "You're talking to a cave man who has a computer", that's how much I know about computers.
Jameson wants his picture loaded on my site so I guess I'll let him post some under members only section of the photos. I might use one for my new avatar! He's such a pretty baby and funny as well. He's his Papa's Boy and he knows it. The Monster Baby lets everyone know he wants his Papa when I'm around. Last week end when I was working in the garage I was told he was staring at me and growling the whole time. That's what I taught the Monster Baby to do. His mama taught him to do rasberries but now he just growls. I also taught him how to wave bye bye. He my wonderful baby boy.

Well, I don't know who reported Trishh's e-mail not working but I've had no problem contacting her either by email or phone. She has a great voice and nice laugh can't wait to see her next weekend. That's right, next week end. I'm going to fly from Sacramento to Lansing to spend the week end with her and we've already talked about a few things to do for activites. I told her I like to go sight seeing when I go places and she's going to be my guide. I told her I really like red hair women with freckles and she laughed saying that's her. I'm sure we're going to have a great time.

I've finally done it, I bought a new computer and a laser jet printer. The old Dell I have is dying and I'm tired of messing with it. Some one told me the problem with dell's is the older they get the slower they get and that's the truth. This old computer won't let me open 2 windows without slowind down and many times I can't log on to this site because it's so screwed up. I try to post blogs or forum comments and the computer takes forever to go through the process so, I went with HP this time. I've had a Gateway (which is total garbage) a Dell and now I'm going to try an HP. If I had been trained to use a Mac I's go with one of them but my work used Windows so they sent me to college classes to learn how to navigate Windows and I screw up on a Mac a lot more than I on a PC.
I got a compute with "Dou core quad processors" what ever that means and a computer guy told me the PC I had chosen was a good one and would be faster than any thing I'm used to. I got the laser jet printer because of my photograpy hobbby. I also got tired of having to load paper in the back of the printer and got one with a tray where I can just lay the paper in it and not worry if it will feed or not. I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of the computer because it will go into my office and I'll get rid of this printer, key board and mouse and the are it's in in the family room will, finally, be open to turn into the libarary are for my home. One of the ideals I had when I remodeled my house.

This is jameson and i slid over here and pulled myself up on the chair the papa is sleeping so i have to be quiet you do 2. Well were do i begin; the mama and the papa both thought my eyes were black and i had red hair, i fooled them. I have big bright blue eyes that have black irises and bright blue corena and the edges and the darkest blue you've ever seen and im a little toe head as well. The papa is always telling me how smart i am because of the things i do but he and the mama don't no that i been watching them when we are at the key board, they think my banging on it is me having fun! Ha, i fooled them! I might post a picture of me here but i have to wait until the papa gets his new computer, the one he has now is worse than a used diaper. Talking about diapers, i got the papa trained pretty well on how to change them but now he does it so fast that i don't get mad about not being able to sit up. I cant sit up by my self yet but if i get your finger i can sit up but, i rather stand than sit. The papa is pretty good about keeping me fed and i like all that stuff he feeds me. I especially like blueberry-applesauce but the papa doesn't remember where he got it so, i have to take him to the stores to find more. I swear he'd forget his head if it wasnt attached but hes a pretty good guy, i spend 3-5 days with the papa while the mama and dada go to work and some times i let the papa spend the night with me. The papa used to be mean to me when he would go play in the water. He wouldnt take me with him (I let him know how i felt about that) now he does and i tell him to get out and let me have the water all to my self. It feels like the stuff from the big blue thats up high. I to like to play in my bouncy chair and i have 2 lower teeth and my 2 front teeth are comming in, i about 33 inches long and i weigh 28lbs. I like it when when all the giants let me just wear a diaper. It means that i get to play and rub stuff all over me and stick it in my mouth, That's what i call fun and i let every one know i having fun. That's enough for me the papa is moving. This is Jameson signing off. Remember: Loose lips sink ships.

It's been one hell of a year for me since last May. Started off with abdominal surgery, then my back went out, my grand son was born, I got a sinus infection that I couldn't get rid of for months and then my back went out, again. This last time my back went out it was suddenly and felt like some one shoved a knife in my back (yes I know what it feels like to be stabbed) and I was on the floor. It took weeks before I was able to get out of bed with out having to roll on my belly and push myself off the bed so my knees would touch the floor and the I could use the bed to push my self up to stand. Sitting and standing were the same way. I went to to Dr and he said there wasn't a thing that could be done I just had to wait until the spasm stopped. I was taking two percocet and 2 trqamadol three times a day and was still in pain.
I had to to go the Dr 2 time to get the right antibiotic to get rid of the sinus infection and that's a drag. But I'm feeling better now and in better spirits. My sister nearly died a couple of months ago and had to be hospitalized so thing in that relationship have changed dramaticly. I go in to check on her and she'd get mad at me. I finally told her that if she didn't want me to check on her then she had better move into an assited living center because I was tired of being the bad guy trying to keep her healthy. She's been living with me for 3 yrs now and all she paid for were utilities. That was a big problem for me. We had a big argument over how I moved her in with me so she could get out of debt and then by accident I opened her bank statement and saw how much money she had spent (more like wasted) and I blew up. She is now paying resonable amount for rent and doesn't complain when I check on her. I have come to the realization that if I want to eat I have to do all the cooking. My sister tries but damm she fucks up squash! I can't stand her cooking so it's up to me. So I'm cooking and eating and gaining weight back. It feels good to be back and alive. Hope all of you are doing well.

Wow. This collapse of the ecconomy has really hit me hard and has me pissed off. For a long time I have been saying that the career politicians are responsible for the problems this country has been having ecconomicaly because, they are the ones who sit on the commmitties that are supposed to regulate commerce and industry and they have not been doing their jobs. The stock market has had three hits prior to the melt down and I was writing that the politcos and companies were only interrest inmaking money and screwing over the little guys (us).
And it happened. I wrote a post on 04/22/07 called "another question" addressing this problem.
I was watching Lou Dobbs and Tom Kudlow last week and on the same day the both said what I have been saying. The career politicians are responsible for the mess this country is in. It is really satisfying to have to prominent men tell their listeners to do what I have been tell people to do for years. Vote out the career politicians, we have an election next year.

I'm going to Africa for a 7 day safari in November. I had planned to take my good friend, sponsor (AA), brother Mason and hunting buddy with me but he was diagonised with lukyemia and will not be able to make the trip. I was afraid that this would be another adventure outing that I would be doing on my own. I had considered hiring an escort in South Africa to be my companion but that would put the price of this trip in the astronomical region of space and I just can't go there, yet.
I had been trying to set up the trip so my niece could go with me on the trip but all the dates conflicted with her college schedule. I had, finally, resigned myself to going alone and decided to go in November the 21st to the 30th. I realized that that week was her Thanksgiving break and called her to see if she would like to go. Her answere was: "Well, I'll miss 2 days of classes but yes I want to go." So we'll be boarding a plane at SFO and flying to Johannesburg in November. It's a 23hr flight and we have a 1hr 45min lay over in Atlanta but it's the shortest flight (time wise) and probably shortest distance since all the other flights go to 2 different countries before South Africa.
It's always been a fantasy to have sex with a woman in every country I go to but I'm not sure that will happen this time. If there's a town nearby I'm going to ask some of the people at the lodge about female companionship, I think they'll know what I mean. But if it doesn't happen I won't worry about it.
I plan to hunt for a couple of days and the rest of the time will be sight seeing and photo tours. I'll let every one know how it goes.
