Decorum

I got interested surfing on the forum discussions of this site lately which influenced me to join in the discussions by way of posting some of my humble opinions and limited ideas or knowledge. Indeed, I found enjoyment and interest with the activity and somehow learned a lot.

However, as I do so, I found some unwanting comments, reactions coming from a participant with an obnoxious personality. This guy keeps on posting lowly-rated or unwanting posts.. hits back with anyone who reacts with the guy's posts. Of course other members come to the rescue of which side or both sides, and potentially it becomes a brewing mess.

It is at this juncture that I would say by way of suggestion or advocacy, that we members should be
"responsible enough" in what we write in forum discussions or even in our own blogs and articles. Let us always observe the basic DECORUM in writing by carefully and assessing first the terms we use. Common errors is citing a specific person name, country, culture or religion then goes on to attack or cite damaging words against the subject. This will not do good to us in any way, in any angle or in any manner. Let us just try to share our thoughts through ideas and opinions, feelings, observations and experiences in an appropriate manner.

The best thing to do is observe decorum, even the most basic of it!
