Womens' magazines...

Tomorrow I shall be purchasing a copy of a magazine purported - as it's slogan says - to be "the magazine that turns women on". I have a contact closely allied to the owner of the magazine and I've been offered advertising space within it. It's a big step - a HUGE step even. The site has only just been completed and gone live, but as we're all well aware, the mediums in which to promote a Male Escort are EXCEPTIONALLY few and VERY far between. Space in a national womens' mag would seem the obvious way forward.

But it's a fair old outlay for something that carries no guarantee of success. OK, I'm hitting 60,000 readers - but how many of them scan the classified ads? How many of those readers will I convert to enquiries and most importantly bookings?

I suppose I have to bite the bullet and take the wonderful opportunity I'm being offered. As I've already said - what other promotional avenues are open to a male escort? I have to committ to a 3 month run - but what better 3 months can I have - October, Novemeber and December!!! It's party season and if I'm not going to take bookings from a national ad campaign in a publication geared towards the liberated, modern, open-minded woman - a magazine with a specifically adult theme - I may as well give up!!!

That's settled then... I'm going to do it!

I'll buy the magazine, study the format, devise my ad and on Monday I'll be doing the necessary!

On another note, Autumn is definitely here! I've just taken the dog out for a woodland walk - the damp smell in the air, the (albeit currently sparse) carpet of yellow leaves, the slight nip in the air... Autumn has arrived, goodbye summer - and it's not been such a bad one has it!But anyway, roll on Christmas and a full diary! - I can but hope!!!
