My Submissive Side..What else to expect?

I have gradually been getting into my submissive nature.
I have experienced a few things with a couple people I see regularly.
BUT, then comes some people who want to meet me for the 1st time and they have certain toys like chains to the bed, or hanging from the ceiling, which seems like fun, but I'd only be comfortable with someone I already knew.

Is this common?

What other types of submissive play is there that I don't know about?
