The Difference Between Escort Service and Prostitution

What is the difference between being an escort and being a prostitute? Well, the answer is simple. As defined by Dictionary.com an escort is:

1. A group of persons, or a single person, accompanying another or others for protection, guidance, or courtesy: An escort of sailors accompanied the queen.
2. An armed guard, as a body of soldiers or ships: The president traveled with a large escort of motorcycle police.
3. A man or boy who accompanies a woman or girl in public, as to a social event.
4. Protection, safeguard, or guidance on a journey: to travel without escort.

The definition of a prostitute is:

1. A woman who engages in sexual intercourse for money; whore; harlot.
2. A man who engages in sexual acts for money.
3. A person who willingly uses his or her talent or ability in a base and unworthy way, usually for money.

Is it legal to be an escort? Yes. As long as you clearly state that the date is just a date and that the client is to pay you in advance for services rendered, meaning, for the date and do not engage in sexual activity. Then it is ok.

But, there is a loophole that most people do not know about. That is, when a client pays for the date and things get heated up sexually, all you have to do is tell the client that they just paid for the date and not the sex. Sex is just a benefit of the date.

A prostitute will clearly state that she is willing to have sex for money, that is illegal in some states. the best way to avoid being classified as a prostitute is state that the client is paying for the date and not the sex.

When on a date remember to protect yourself. Always carry some form of protection like a Taser or a can of Mace or Pepper Spray.
