My Webpagehttp://www.aircombatusa.com/

Well, I couldn't find any zip lining outfits in the Contential US but, this is one of my favorite sports.
I sent a couple of emails to JJ in Nashville and she is interested in doing this. I, also, sent her this web site address. You should check it out, it has a short video of what goes on in this sport.
They have a spot in Alanta and one in Winston/Salem so I asked her which was closer to her and asked which dates would be better for her (the have a schedule posted) and, hopeully, we'll be going.
We will be doing the Flight Lead In program which consists of 10 dog fights. She's really intersested and sounds excited. I'm excited as well.
This will be the first time I get to share this adventure with a lady and I'm looking forward to it! If you don't like roller coasters or get air sick this isn't for you.
I've flown 7 flights of 6 dog fights each flight, I love it. But, I will tell you, you will feel like you had the shit beat out of you, the way I fly. They say you can pull 6 g's, the most I've ever done is 5 1/2. You black out at 6.
They make videos of you while flying and you get one for each flight. I told JJ I'd take it easy on her. NOT.LOL
I'm waiting for an answer and as soon I as I hear from her I'll book the trip. I can hardly wait. This is greater than zip lining, at least to me.
The flilghts will be in March so we'll let you know all about it.
I finally found a woman as crazy as I am and, it's great.

No, no, no.
My call sign is: Bad Dawg. JJ will get to pick her's or they'll give you one. They said I earned mine!LOL
I had one instructor yelling at me, where the hell did you learn to do that manuver. I told him, I'm Infantry and that's how I fight. He loved it told me I was the first one to ever do anything like that in all his years of flying. Only problem is: I don't remember what the hell I did.

Got a reply from JJ, she's checking out the web site and will get back to me. She's also going to see if she can find the photo of her repeling from a heliocopeter and send it to me.
I don't know who said it but: Yeah, Baby!
I'd love to do this with her.
dominixe,
I will play nice. That is if she isn't kicking my ass! LOL

Well, I went flying last Friday and it was a great time. It's been about 5 years since I flew my last flight but I had the chance to go and took it. I flew with an instructor I had never flown with before and against some guy I didn't know and another instructor I didn't know. Whoa, talk about a difference in flying techniques! I've always like to fly high, 7,000- 100,00 feet and these guys and flying from 5,000 -3,500 feet. The 3500 being the hard deck, the imaginary ground where you crash and burn!
I like flying at the higher alitudes because I can handle 5 1/2 g's and most people will black out at 5g's so it gives me an advantage and I also love to climb into the sun and wait for about 3 seconds after I'm blinded before I turn and dive out of it, usually behind my opponent. Get 'em nearly every time. But this low flying doesn't give my any advantage and I'm used to being able to use the sky for manuvers and speed. Ground flyin is a whole new concept, to me. But it was 3 for 3 so that was good. The instructor's both said we did good jobs of flying and one of the planes was in the saftey line on the gas tank when we returned to base. They both said that the dog fights we flew were the longest they had every been in. About 15 minuets per fight. We burned up 2 hours of fuel flying at 450 miles an hour. Can't wait to do it again. What a Rush.
