Craigslist is getting some new attention from the FEDS..Be very careful as their guidelines are different than your local LE. Soon all ads on craigslist will need some identification to be posted. All info will be open for LE to look at.

Not long ago, in a city near me, LE put an ad in Craigslist to catch guys looking to pay for sex. It worked, and they caught three men. It was on the TV news, and newspapers, with these guy's names and photos. I thought that, "There but the for the grace of God goes me!". I have seen those ads too, and almost responded to them. The men that were caught had asked the undercover female cop for a girlfriend experience. When the officer asked the men to describe what that meant to them, they unfortunatley didn't have the sense to get suspicious, and told her exactly what they were looking for. They were busted right there. I know better now how to safely go about what I am looking for, thanks to this web site. I hope that my personal information here is safe from LE. That is part of the reason that I decided to omit my photo (please forgive my little joke pic). So its a great effort for LE to get the information on the server that would identify users. They would have to have a very compelling reason to justify the effort and expense. It is easier for them to conduct a local undercover sting where they can gather the hard evidence to make the (prostitution) charges stick. I HAVE always, and always will stear clear of Craigslist( though I am no longer a provider). There are so many other opportunities out there to obtain clientel. Hundreds of escort advertisement websites, magazines, chat rooms, groups, even word of mouth. I wouldn't risk my freedom and a black mark on my criminal record for one website. When it's hot...don't touch it!
