Someone once mentioned that I'm doing this for the "kick" and not for the money. I have to admit, I do get fairly racist especially if I have had previous, horrid experiences with a member of that race. I know I shouldn't be biased, not everyone who is -insert race- is that way, etc but it's just human to be biased, isn't it? I do try to fight my biased thoughts and go along with client requests but more of then then not, I'll feel uncomfortable. I guess this is one of those "it's all in the mind" cases. If I were to set my mind to being comfortable with that race, then I will and vice versa.
On the other hand though, you have every right to set your boundaries and make it clear that you are "uncomfortable" with that particular clients race. Just try to be subtle about it (: Some men are quick tempered and may get offended before you can get a chance to say "Wait, let me explain!" Just because a client pays you $ does not mean he owns you like a pet dog and has the power to command you for the period of time he's paid you for. You're human, you're a person, you have a choice to do what you're comfortable with. Actually, you have the right to do only what you are comfortable with. Is it really worth the money to get hurt by him if he does something to you you're not comfortable with and struggle? As for clients like that, the best thing to do really is to ignore him.
