Have you ever been recognized in your civvie life?

I know alot of escorts obscure or hide their face in their photos because they don't want people to recognize them. Then theres some of us - self included who don't hide our face - for whatever reason.

My question is have you ever been recognized by someone you had no prior contact with but they saw your website or ad or whatever? If so did they say anything or did their behavior make you think they recognized you?

So far I haven't really run into someone who said they saw my ad when I was just out in my everyday life. But there's a gentleman at the grocery store who gets the silliest grin whenever he waits on me (he works in seafood dept) and the other day he actually came down the aisle I was in, just to talk to me. But he hasn't come right out and said he knows I'm an escort and I dont want to be the first to mention it either. Everytime I see him (usually once or twice a week), I am left wondering if he really has a thing for me, is just being nice or knows I'm an escort but hasn't figured out how to say something about it.

Well, it happened before 2-3 days and I wasn't sure whether I should write about it or not... But I think now, that it'll good to tell our friends and ask for opinions...

It was a quiet day and I'd been looking for some action (and till today, I still am). I received a call from a regular client who is 26. She asked me if I was free and if I'd serve a friend of her, in Pune only. I was glad and said yes, immediately. After half an hour, I received a call from the new client. Everything was agreed to, over phone itself. We decided to meet at a very expensive coffee shop.

I prepared and got ready and went to the coffee shop. There I found my ex girl friend (very old affair, I was in college), sitting alone. We're a little amazed to see each other after years. She was also waiting for someone. We decided to chat for a while, until our guests arrived. For half an hour, we kept remembering old times and talking about it. It was alreayd too late, my client hadn't arrived; I was impatient. The same happened to her and she said she'd call her friend, for whom she'd been waiting... She dialed...

My cell phone rang.... I was blank, confused! She was blank too, just staring at me... We started to laugh... She was surprised that I've taken to escorting. And she was shocked to see my poor financial situation (I still feel embarrassed). She has seen me in my better times, when I'd made hundreds of thousands... Well.. after that I felt uncomfortable! She sensed it too... None of us wanted to go ahead with the date... So we decided to meet some other time. Next day, she gifted me a new cell phone, which is quite better than the ancient one I had...

It was shocking, amazing and quite ambarrassing encounter... I want to ask all friends and members of this community, has this ever happened to you? How did/would you react???

Yeah... It was quite embarrassing at first... Slowly, both of us accepted the situation... Since then, she has hired me thrice... :).....

Bangkok is so big I never even see my regular clients when I outside. Maybe it is cause I only have sex with white western men and they dont shop in the places I would even though they live and work here. About 70% of them are married too and even though I would NEVER make a problem I am sure they would avoid me if with they family.

not yet, i wonder how i would handle it.

I've had had instances where one of my escorts got caught from her ex boy-friend, who then in turned told her parents about our site. Lucky for her, I was able to remove her pics right before her parents saw the site. Made her ex look like an idiot, but was a very close call none the less.

It was too bad I lost this particular girl as she was 1 of a kind... But that's the nature of the business I guess....

Showing face pics does increase business but at the same time could be risky...

If you can get away with not showing your face, then do it.

Hmmm.. That's right.. I've thought of showing my face, a hundred times before this, bot gay clients of mine, prefer to see my face first. But then it increases the risk... I was out with friends who did not know about my escorting job and a guy I had done a session with came right up to me and asked me if I remembered him from the hotel.
