hey so i notice that a lot of escorts do not put their rates in their ads and i can understand why but how do i ask without making it seem like im wanting "sex for money?"

Personally, I do not appreciate escorts not putting their rates in their ads. I just do believe that this is a marketing strategy to possibly further fire-up interest of potential customers interested in them. However, this strategy may fail or bound to fail if the escort is not so desirable or a classy one based on her/his profile or promotional materials like pics, interview and invitational ads.

Nonetheless, I respect their choice not to place it. It's their inherent right or choice anyway, for they will be the ones to benefit if strategy is successful or suffer the consequence if it becomes a failure. This is business and everyone has to think of strategies to enhance sales!

I appreciate an escort that places her rates in her ad as that gives me an idea. At least, I won't need to ask & risk humiliating her or alienating her.

We often read the phrase "Money is for time and companionship" which is normally nothing else than a legal feint.
Spending time with someone and selling companionship is not illegal, it is the reason why there are so many self declared "escorts" on the market. But, it is not a surprise, that even escorts working in countries where prostitution is legal (sometimes) avoid publishing rates in ads.

What may be the reason for this? - Well, escorts take money for their services which is often nothing else than black money and not reported to the revenue department so as to avoid paying taxes on it. Naive escorts who take this fiscal problem into consideration use the feint and talk about "gifts", "donations" or "roses", when they publish or talk about their rates. I tend to doubt that this feint is helpful, especially when an escort is a 24/7 professional. One reason more being discrete with rates...

Then, not to forget there can be "intra industry problems" which make experienced escorts being careful, especially when their rates are extraordinary.

Finally there are lot of escort sites where escorts place their ads. If they post their rates everywhere, then they have a lot of work, if they modify the rates later, - nonetheless clients will ask for it. So, why post it and have problems?

You see, there can be reasons for being discrete with rates, absolutely.

it really simple..... just tell the girl how long you would like to be with her and what is the rate for that. HOw difficult is that? if you worried you not have enough for the time you want and would ask less time if you see her rates first than you really not have the income to see escorts to begin with.

The other option is just tell her how long you desire to be with her and this is what you offer. Let her decide take it or not. I do not if I understand the word haggle with clients unless it for a looong period of time.... you accept my rate or I take your offer and that it......... I am not some t-shirt in the market you bargin a price for.


and it is true escorting does not mean sex in every case.

I have had client take me cause he did not want to be alone and his wife was not with him and we laugh and watch movies all night no sex any he his faithful to his wife.

I have clients who have take me to dinners with his business friends who were with their wives so he wanted a girl beside him too.

I have a one client who just takes me to lunch and pays for my time.

On the other side, many favors that rates be on ads of escorts. Many good ideas and opinions too (as yours) were posted and have already enumerated earlier their points in this forum. Maybe ours, (in favor of rates included in ads) are just speaking and advocating our stand in this enterprise, for we believe it would do good to the enterprise, as per reasons or wisdom earlier mentioned in previous posts.

Let those not in favor likewise say their piece for a healthy sharing, for it will enhance awareness and participation of everybody in this site... and in the enterprise. When this happens, when almost everybody (hobbyists and escorts only) is aware and would be able to internalize the system/s within the sphere of the environment they are in, and act accordingly or appropriately, it would greatly help the whole industry...our favorite escorting industry. The general principle in business, especially SERVICE business, ....the customer is always right! - for they are the ones keeping the business upright!

I did a short 2 year stint in California once and the company i was contracted to DID NOT allow you to bring your spouse or SO to functions or client dinners, everyone had Corporate sponsored escorts ..It was up to you if chose to do anything physical. but their main use was they we're trained in the business, knew how to work the tables and clients and make business flow much smoother..and yes they had taxes deducted from their paychecks :>
